I Would Love to Be Stubborn Again!
Please listen to my story.
Stubbornness is often seen as a negative character trait.
Who likes a stubborn person? Of course, no one.
But I think I’m alive today because I had been stubborn.
How?
This is my story.
In every human organization, people are often encouraged to:
- Work together
- Support one another
- Stand by one another in times of grief
- Etc.
But I did otherwise for a time, and that’s why I’m still here to tell you this story.
In February this year, the director of studies at my workplace(school) lost her loving father to the cold hands of death. It was a tough time for her. She needed the support of all her colleagues at work.
And she deserved all forms of support.
She is kind, loving, generous, and always supportive.
. . .
Her dad’s funeral ceremony was in April and attendance was mandatory for all staff.
Three days to the funeral, my head of department sent a reminder mail to all the staff in the department. He also emphasized that attendance was mandatory.
